Helen Zille is also a true leader.
It seems that she single-handedly runs the DA.
Controls the DA.
Helen Zille, in the minds of the people IS the DA.
If you are interested enough, you will find
that Helen Zille actually has a long record of being against
Apartheid, but who cares?
As the leader of the DA, the face of the
DA, the backbone of the DA and indeed the heart and mind
of the DA, she has a major obstacle in her path.
Helen Zille’s skin colour is white.
And, unfortunately, to the ignorant masses,
the blind masses, everything else falls by the wayside.
Corruption, poor service delivery, government
officials and ministers enriching themselves and their friends
and families, ignoring the plight of the poor and the entire
reality of their 16 year track record does not feature at
all when it comes down to the wire.
The vast majority of blacks in this country
cannot bring themselves to vote for a white person.
Because the older generation remembers what whites did to
them, and the ANC makes sure that the younger generations
are indoctrinated by what happened here before they were
born.
That is what keeps them in power.
I would be pleasantly surprised if the DA
makes major inroads in tomorrow’s election.
It will give me hope.
Hope
that more South African’s are starting to vote
with their heads instead of with their hearts. |
