SOUTH AFRICA RULED BY A CARTEL

Jacob Zuma has reshuffled his cabinet to make way for more of his ‘cronies’ and in this way strengthen his faction in the divided ANC, according to Helen Zille.

Be that as it may, it is becoming blatantly clear that the ANC is running this country as a cartel, with nothing more than personal gain and power as their main objectives.

Meanwhile, Tony Yengeni, who served just five-months of a four-year sentence for fraud linked to the multi-billion Rand arms deal, makes no bones about the fact that the law does not apply to him.

Section 218 of the Companies Act disqualifies anybody who was jailed for theft, fraud, forgery or perjury from being a company director, unless the high court sets aside the disqualification.

Yengeni's prison sentence prevented him from becoming an MP last year, but he has subsequently been appointed to set up the ANC's political school, and he has taken up directorship of six companies, including two mining companies, since his release.

His comment?
"What has the high court to do with my life," he reportedly asked.
"Maybe the law stipulates certain things. But the high court... I don't think they feature. I don't have to ask permission from them to deal with my life."

In the meantime, a 35-year-old female doctor was hit with a brick and raped in one of the wards while she was on duty at Pelonomi Hospital in the Free State when she was attacked in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Fidel Hadebe of the Health Department’s comment?

‘Such incidents should not be allowed to happen and it really pushes us to move with increased speed in terms of ensuring that we improve in the area of security in our facilities.’

We are in the grips of a cartel people.
