But, a combination of ‘South African
Model’, ‘Topless’, and ’16-year-old’
did mildly raise my curiosity.
After all, glorifying beautiful South African women plays
a big part in the content of this site.
Born in Cape Town, Michaela Steenkamp was
only 6-years-old when her family emmigrated to New Zealand
ten years ago, and they are now living in Christchurch.
Surely Michaela is more New Zealander than
South African?
Apparently not.
When asked ‘If you could travel anywhere in the world
right now, where would you go and why?’ Michaela,
without hesitation, answered ‘Cape Town South Africa
because it is a beautiful place and my hometown, and to
see my family.’
Michaela is still schooling and plans to
go to university, although she is not yet sure what she
will study.

‘But,’
she adds, ‘modelling has always been a dream
of mine and I’m doing it for my grandmother
who taught me to chase my dreams.’ |
And her dream job other than modelling?
‘To own my own business and to work overseas. In Africa!’
Well, Michaela, posing topless has certainly
made a lot of people sit up and take notice.
For various reasons.
Hopefully soon you will be able to realise
your dream of working overseas.
