Oil reserves in Libya are the largest in
Africa and the ninth largest in the world with 41.5 billion
barrels as of 2007, giving Libya 63 years of reserves at
current production rates if no new reserves were to be found.
Libya is considered a highly attractive oil area due to
its low cost of oil production (as low as $1 per barrel
at some fields), and proximity to European markets.
And this while most of Libya remains unexplored as a result
of past sanctions and disagreements with foreign oil companies.
It’s plain and simple.
The Allies do not give a fok about the people
of Zimbabwe, or the people of Libya for that matter.
And if a few thousand innocent civilians
are killed in the process?
What with Human Rights Day and all?
Well..........
Think of the bigger picture.
The greater good.
(Goods?)
Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko
Borisov agrees with me and is the only leader with the balls
to state this publicly.
‘Petrol and who will exploit Libya's
oil fields are to a great extent the interests behind this
operation’ he told private TV7 television in an interview
on Monday.
‘There are many African countries
where hundreds of thousands were killed, where unrest is
ongoing... But there are no operations conducted there,’
he added, after I wrote this article, if I
may add.
