I totally believe Donna D’Errico
when she claims that she was singled out by officers from
the Transportation Security Administration when she flew
from Los Angeles to Pittsburgh.
I don’t want to generalise, but generally
speaking, security guards are not known to be the brightest
crayons in the box.
But would the bright crayons be able to resist the two-pronged
opportunity to ogle a naked Baywatch Babe and Playmate of
the Month live and in person?

Donna
D’Errico was a regular on the “Baywatch”
series from 1996 to 1998 after working as a swimsuit
model and appearing as a centrefold in “Playboy”
in 1995.

When she arrived in Pittsburgh, one of the
security officials pulled her aside and told her that she
would have to go through one of the full body scans which
have caused much controversy since being introduced at US
airports.
The screening officers can see an image
of the unclothed body, while the passenger’s face
is blurred. Once the passenger has been screened the “naked”
imagery is supposed to be deleted.
But she saw several officers from the Transportation Security
Administration “leering” at her scan.
When she asked why she had been singled
out from a long line of passengers, the official - admittedly
very honestly - responded ‘Because you caught my eye,
and they didn’t.’
Passengers at US airports are given a choice
of going through the full body scanner or undergoing an
extensive pat down by an officer. Several fliers have stripped
to their underwear before going through scanners to avoid
being touched inappropriately by security officials.
D’Errico said she was not given the option.
An airport security spokesman denied any
improper behavior by staff, but it is only a week since
Fergie, the blonde singer from the group Black Eyed Peas,
was also forced to strip down to her underwear and go through
the scanner.
