LET’S MAKE A MOVIE

A number of tiny lights started flashing on my radar when I got the mail on Tuesday.
‘Meeting with the force tomorrow 4pm at River Club.’
I am not easily excited these days, nor am I easily scared, but I investigated the little lights one at a time, and took the necessary precautionary measures to protect my fragile constitution.

This was a preliminary meeting to find out whether we were reading the same book, let alone whether we were on the same page.

I packed two of the books that I am currently engaging and off I went.

It turned out to be, not unexpectedly, a six-hour marathon and all sorts of juices were flowing in all directions.

Book two made no impression, but the force is keen to turn book one into a movie.
I don’t count chickens.
These days I don’t even count my eggs before they are fried.
All I know is that I have my work cut out or me.

For now, let’s take a minute to simply admire the sunrise.
