LET’S GO PARTY IN KHAYELITSHA

If we are serious about building a united South African nation, it is essential that we start talking to each other, listening to each other and getting to know each other.

What better way to do that than through music and partying together?

On Sunday 8 August we take the bull by the horns as we head on down to Lookout Hill in Khayelitsha to bring the house down.

And when it comes to bringing the house down, we have some experts on our team

Joseph and George Mothiba started out as djs in the dusty streets of Alexander Township or Alex as we know it.
Ten years later, through sheer determination, guts and hard work the twin brothers are at the top of the house music game.
The multi-award winning Revolution is recognised as the leaders in African house and their record label Four Sounds Music is making waves all over the globe.

As if that’s not enough, DJ Kent, the king of the dj term ‘Mashup’ and the presenter for 5FM’s ‘This is my House’ will join Revolution on the decks.

Local boy from the SABC DJ Loyd is up against these Jozi heavyweights, but judging from his recently launched ‘Future DJs’ cd he may well turn out to be the dark horse in this field.

Sizzling Sundays at Lookout Hill on the corner of Mew Way and Spine Road in Khayalitsha is where it’s happening from 4pm on Sunday 8 August.

And just in case you don’t know it, in the kasie we braai at house parties!
In fact, we braai at all parties.
Especially on Sundays!

Join us as we go down there for a ripper of a mashup!
If you need transport to and from the venue call Gary on 083 516 0242.
