Jennifer Aniston is not a drop-dead gorgeous
beauty like Angelina Jolie, a sultry goddess like Catherine
Zeta-Jones or even a natural beauty like Michelle Pfeiffer.
But for some reason, Jen is big news.
I put it down to the fact that the public
find it easy to relate to her.
She is the epitome of what any self-respecting woman can
realistically aspire to, not to mention any self-respecting
man.
Jennifer Aniston, whether you are a male or female, is attainable.
The success of Friends and the fact that
she dumped Brad just adds to her appeal.
Unlike the likes of Angelina, Catherine
and Michelle, Jen cannot depend on her looks alone to send
the masses into frenzy, and therefore she has to work hard
at it.
She is also comes across as being fundamentally conservative,
and at 41-years-old I doubt whether she will ever resort
to flaunting nudity or raunchy sex scenes to attain shock
appeal.
But that does not stop her trying.
When she launched Lolavie, her perfume,
for example, the hype screamed ‘Jennifer Aniston Nude’
But when we rushed to take a peek, we were met with a very
tame pic of Jenny sitting - allegedly naked - on a rock,
but covered with a towel.
Jen has been a spokesperson
for Glaceau Smart Water since 2007 and she has appeared
in many ads for the brand.
In the latest offering, all the stops are
pulled to add to Jen’s appeal, in the hope that the
video will go viral.
I’m not sure how many bottles of Smart
water the video will sell, but I can guarantee that it will
go viral, generating hundreds of thousands, if not millions
of hits.
