CULTURE AND HERITAGE REARS ITS HEAD - AGAIN

For a long time now, I have been outspoken on my view that culture and heritage are chains that hamper the progress of the human race.

Sometimes, heated arguments make me feel that I am the only person (of colour?) who holds this view.

1. Fathering a lovechild while married to three wives, and a further two in the past, (one divorced him, one committed suicide) and yet another in the wings. All - including 20 children - living a privileged life paid for by the taxpayer.

2. Boiling the chopped-off head of your neighbour because your ancestors instructed you to do so.

I rest my case.
