Something must have happened to evoke a
murderous rage in the Bull called Bees.
Even the judge finds the circumstances strange.
Bees and a friend was at a strip club called
Flamingo’s on the night, obviously to innocently ogle
some cows, and according to witnesses the two were already
drunk when they arrived.
Bees left the venue at 1am.
The incident allegedly happened after the
policeman in question got into Bees’ car to drive
him to the police station on suspicion of ‘drunken
driving.’
But the car was headed away from the nearest police stations
(Brooklyn and Sunnydale) towards Roux’s house in Rivonia.
And, the policeman’s colleagues were not following
them.
Chief Magistrate Desmond Nair described
these circumstances as "strange" in his bail verdict.
Now Pieter Crous, the owner of Flamingo’s,
claims that his clients are often blackmailed by members
of the Tshwane Metro police.
Police would wait for the clients to leave
the strip joint in the early hours and drive off in their
cars.
They would then follow and stop the vehicle.
‘The client must then draw money and give it to the
metro police officers or face being arrested for driving
under the influence,’ explained Crous.
Methinks those who are not drunk are probably
threatened with informing their wives of their activities.
I have seen the
Bulls on the rugby field, and they look scary. |

I would imagine that threatening or trying
to blackmail a huge drunken bull called Bees is akin to
attempting to tango with a raging bull in a china shop.
But, Bees the Bull killed the man, and under
any circumstance that is homicide, so this bull will probably
not help Bees in court.
