You book into your luxury furnished en suite
room and then take a leisurely stroll around the lush lawns
to explore the place.
The venue boasts a restaurant, a fully licensed bar, horse
rides and quad rides on an 8km track.
At 12h30 you are served a light lunch.
While the guys do quads and horse rides
or simply watch sports on the big screen in the bar while
downing a pint or two, the ladies step into a luxurious
tropical spa for a pedicure, manicure, a facial and a half-an-hour
in a Jacuzzi.
At 16h00 you are treated to a high tea,
complete with cucumber sandwiches and scones with strawberry
jam and cream.
After tea, relax under the parasols enjoying
the fresh air, or have a nap in your air-conditioned room.
Do more horse rides, ride more quads, down more beers, have
another stint in the Jacuzzi. Whatever tickles your fancy.
Then, at 19h30, after freshening up, you
meet in the restaurant for an aperitif, before enjoying
a scrumptious 3-course meal and a bottle of wine.
After dinner, have your coffee, cocktail,
cognac, cigar in the bar area.
And….at 21h00 the DJ starts and you party into the
wee hours in an exquisite and exclusive intimate party environment.
The following morning you enjoy a full champagne
breakfast in the restaurant and soak up some more of the
fresh air and tranquillity of this retreat, before you are
luxuriously whisked away to your car in the city.
Sound inviting?
Would you pay R1 250pp for such pampering?
Everything mentioned above is included in the package price.
Head and shoulder or foot massages are also available in
the spa at a nominal extra charge. The champagne and wine
mentioned above are included but there is a cash bar for
any extras.
This is a real survey.
I am contemplating putting together such a package, but
would be very interested to know what sort of market there
is out there for this kind of thing. 24 people can be accommodated
per breakaway, and there is a R350 surcharge for single
rooms so get a partner, get a mate!
