AN UNBIASED RACIST
There are many black people that
I cannot stand.
I hate it when they are arrogant. I hate it when
they talk about me loudly to their colleagues, making
no bones about the fact that they are ridiculing
me, and I absolutely can’t stand this dancing
when you are upset business.
There are even more coloured people
that I can’t stand. And whites, and Indians,
and Chinese, and Portuguese and ..

BHEKI CELE -
THE BOOK AND THE COVER
It’s not always easy to not
judge a book by its cover.
I mean, who can blame me for thinking ‘Oh….My…..God’
when I first saw a photo of newly appointed Police
Commissioner Bheki Cele, in one of his Mr Bojangles
outfits?
‘OMG’ I declared silently.
‘They are appointing a clown as the top cop
in the country.’
In retrospect, the cover does not
seem to reflect the content, and I am beginning
to really enjoy this book.

FUN WAY TO EARN
ONLINE
Quite a few Yummie Readers have
joined me on the trip as we strive to earn an extra
buck by clicking links on Neobux.
It’s pretty tough going, as
the money trickles in - a few cents a day –
but we knew we were in for the long haul, and that
we would not become rich overnight.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about,
check
it out here.
I have some good news for the faithful
though.
This one will earn you up to R10 000 for each original
lead that you generate, and you are guaranteed to
have lots of fun in the process.

THE FRUITS OF
THE STRUGGLE
Instead of expressing my personal
take on this, I decided to simply state the facts
and allow you to improvise.
We are after all free now, and we are certainly
free to think what we want.
It being the season of goodwill,
my gift to you is the freedom to form you own opinion.
Nelson Mandela’s 26-year-old
grandson Zondwa and Jacob Zuma’s 37-year-old
nephew Khulubuse have just bought a 60% stake in
DRDGold mine, at a cost of R296.2-million.

CONTROVERSIAL
OR FUNNY?
I’m pretty convinced that
many are going to find this story offensive, but
it is a true story.
Muslims are only allowed to eat
meat that has been slaughtered in a halaal manner,
but they are allowed to eat anything from the ocean.
Now I come from a very staunch Muslim
background, and there are a number of Imams and
Sheiks (religious leaders) amongst them.
But there are also quite a few rebels in the family,
and some of them are just plain naughty.

FILM COMPANIES
EYEING CAPE TOWN
The world’s major film producers
are eyeing Cape Town and the city looks certain
to become the next Hollywood.
Nico Dekker, the chief executive
of Cape Town Film Studios, which is being built
outside Somerset West, has just returned from a
trip to LA.
Dekker was supposed to meet with three managers
in Los Angeles, but when he got there he found 26
were waiting for him.
This included the major players
in Hollywood, namely Fox, Paramount, Disney, Sony,
Universal and Warner.

400-MILLION EYES
FOCUSED ON CAPE TOWN
South Africa’s favourite -
well only – Academy Award Winner is set to
add some glitz and glam to the proceedings at the
ITCC when the Final Draw for the Fifa Soccer World
Cup takes place in the Mother of all Cities on Friday
night.
She will join soccer greats Eusebio,
Roger Milla, David Beckham, Franz Beckenbauer and
Michel Platini.
Judging from the traffic in the
Motherless City during peak hour since Monday, I
wish the world cup was over.

ZENOLIA IN LOS
TEQUES
I read with ambivalence the reports
about the mental state of Zenolia Du Plooy, the
South African woman who was sentenced to eight years
in a South American prison last year.
Du Plooy was found in possession of 799g of cocaine
at an airport in Venezuela and is serving her time
at the notorious Los Teques prison.
Zenolia’s condition is said
to be worsening, but I suspect foulplay.
