To me then, a Yummie Lifestyle is one
where the heart is content, the soul is at peace, the
mind is at ease and the body as well as the bank balance
is healthy.
I have known for a long time that moderation
and balance is the key to a successful and happy life,
but actually applying it to life in a practical way is
easier said than done.
In search of the formula, I have read countless of the
myriad of self-help books out there.
Most of them proclaim ‘You are what
you think you are.’
Affirmations, mind power, attracting positive energy,
and many other similar concepts all preach that your mental
state and attitude is what defines the outcome of your
life, but I have always had the nagging feeling that,
without effort and action, the principle is flawed.
Today is my birthday, and unknowingly,
Nellie has given me a present that cleared a fog that
I did not even realise was present in my life and hampering
my progress.
She
brought home a little book last week, and yesterday
I finished reading Your Best
Year Yet by Jinny Ditzler. |

This little book, in layman’s terms,
tells you exactly how, and in my opinion the only way,
to realise the dream of living a productive, balanced,
and reasonably happy life.
I can kick myself for not being able to devise this simple
plan on my own, but thank you Jinny.
Tomorrow, I will summarise the concept
here.
