SPEND YOUR TWILIGHT YEARS ON A HARLEY

Most 62-year-olds thinking of retiring would be concerned about how to make their nest-egg last for the rest of their days here on Earth.

Sue O’Grady from South Yorkshire thinks that’s for the birds.

Sue is intent on making her last few years the best, and most exciting years of her life.
The mother of two grown sons and grandmother to a four-year-old, is planning on selling her £200 000 (R2.19m) house, and travelling the world.

Body & Soul Weightloss

On her £18 000 (R197 573) Harley-Davidson!

Sue has already travelled throughout most of Britain and Europe as part of the Harley-Davidson Owners Group, and has sought advice on how to best traverse the open plains of the world's continents by contacting motorcycle groups in Africa, India, Australia and the US.

The intrepid former hairdresser is set to start her adventure as soon as she has sold her house, which she has lived in for 20 years.

"I've travelled an awful lot of miles over the last few years, but I'm itching to see the rest of the world now.

Speaking to the Yorkshire Post, O'Grady said: "They think I'm absolutely crazy - but you only live once, and I'm going to make the best of it while I've got the chance."

"I can travel a long way and see a lot of the world with the proceeds from the sale, and if I can stretch the money out and make it last for eight or 10 years, then so much the better."

Now that’s living!
