ACCENTS TO TURN YOU ON There was a time when a Frenchman could ask for directions to the loo and women would buckle at the knees with desire, and average-looking Italian men would give the ladies the shakes just by ordering a glass of Chianti. Well those days it seem are ‘ow you say...fini? These days the accents that turn women on have changed considerable.

In a recent survey of some 5000 women from all over the world, the French accent was toppled from the position that it held for decades as the sexiest accent in the world.
It’s fall from grace, according to the ladies, can be firmly attributed to Nicolas Sarkozy, who is accused of giving his countrymen a bad name by leering at women while married to Carla Bruni.

 

Today, it is the rugged Irish lad who saunters up to the bar and brogues ‘Ha-ware-ya’ that will get the ladies’ mojo ticking.

The Irish accent was on Monday voted the world's sexiest.
Men with an Emerald Isle brogue, as promoted by stars like Colin Farrell and James Nesbitt, came out tops in the poll.

The study also found six in ten women admitted they hade been succumbed to seduction by someone purely because of their accent.

And four out of ten said they would much rather go to bed with a man who had a nice accent compared with a gruff, harsh one.

The Eyetalians managed to hang on to second spot, with the Scots surprisingly in third.
The French came at number four, and, can you believe that the Austrylians came fifth?

I believe that none of the women in the poll has ever heard Loembek say ‘Aweh sexy!’ so we have no idea how he fared.
