THE LOTTO LORD WORKS
IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS
Egyptian Emad Atnas killed his mother-in-law
just a few days before his wedding.
He was jailed for 20 years.
Three years ago, Emad’s father, a poor man,
decided to open a bank account for his jailed son.
He deposited one-hundred Egyption pounds in an account
in Emad’s name, with a bank that automatically
entered clients in the national lottery.

Three months ago, Emad’s ticket
was drawn.
Initially, the lotto board could not find an address for
the winner, but eventually they managed to trace the father.
As luck would have it, it was just days
before Emad was due to be released from prison.
He was released yesterday.
On his release, he was presented with
a cheque for a million Egyptian Pounds, the equivalent
of R1.36-million.
And justice shall prevail.
I am presently going a-searching for me
mother-in-law without any further ado.
