The article talks of:
· Keeping ugly company makes you more appealing
to others
· Single women view married men as better catches
than bachelors
· Men choose women that looks like their mothers
· Women choose men that look like their fathers
· Children of young parents prefer younger partners
and visa versa
Apart from having nothing to do with
seduction, the content is a generalisation and generalising
is a bad idea.
This made me wonder about the author’s
credibility.
The last two paragraphs
however, explained all.
"Neil
Hunt, chief executive of the Alzheimer's Society, said:
"Dementia is not a natural part of ageing; it is
caused by diseases of the brain and gradually robs people
of their lives. However, with the right support, people
can live well with dementia.
"Anecdotal
evidence shows that reminiscing in a group can raise
self esteem, aid communication and in some cases help
to lift depression. It will be interesting to see the
full results of this research."
I did not post a link to the article,
because I am convinced that, as soon as IOL sees this
post, they will either remove the article, or alter
it.
But, I posted a screen
shot here.
Dementia, btw, meaning ‘deprived
mind’, is a serious cognitive disorder.
ADDENDUM
I know that
I promised never to mention his name on this site again,
but this is irresistable. Juliass Dilemna was spotted
photocopying blank paper. When asked what he was doing
he said 'I am making more paper.'
